See life-sized animals using Augmented Reality!

Here's a fun stay-at-home activity.  Check out Google's augmented reality where you can see life-sized animals right in front of your eyes!
It's easy to access.  Using a mobile phone, search for an animal in Google and a result will pop up that says "Meet a life-sized tiger up close" and a "View in 3D" button. That button launches the AR experience.  AR allows users to see the scale of an object and details they might not notice from a simple picture.  Animals include tigers, lions, snakes, bears, hedgehogs, sharks, and more!  You can even take pictures!

Good news to note

This week we salute and thank teachers who are working every day to support student learners in the Canandaigua City School District.  Many are also juggling the responsibility of teaching their school-age children at home.

We especially want to recognize these library staff members who are teachers, tutors, and school aides:  Brittany Guarglia, Annie Hendershot, Donna Hayes, Drinda Lofton, Pam Negley, and Laurie Roeder,
