Things you can count on from Wood Library

We just turned the page on another month and it looks like we will be hunkering down at home for at least a few more weeks.

Library staff are working remotely to ensure that you can continue to access free online resources.  We are posting regularly on Facebook,Instagram, and YouTube, offering a variety of helpful and uplifting content that we hope you will find useful and fun.

Digital content is being added to Libby and Overdrive on a daily basis.  We hope you will find what you are looking for.  Let us know if there is something you are looking for but can't find.  We will do our best to add it to the digital collection.

We learned this week that Wood Library will receive a grant of $2,440 from the United Way of Ontario County for 10 additional WiFi hotspots.  This is great news and will help patrons who do not have reliable internet access at home.

Please continue to connect with us by email.  Library staff will make every effort to respond within 24 hours.

We miss you all.  Please continue to follow the advice of state and local public health officials:  wash your hands and stay home.  We are all in this together.

Good news to note

Beloved Children's Librarian Mary Ferris reports that she is feeling fine and eager to get back to work after a vacation to California followed by a two week quarantine at home.  Look for Mrs. Ferris on our social media platforms.  She is planning weekly storytimes, Lego challenges, flannelboard presentations, and other activities for children and families.
