Wood Library Wednesdays:  A weekly update from your community library!

Like you, we are adjusting to life with COVID-19.  Please be assured that, even at this difficult time, there are things you can count on from your library.

In addition to the services highlighted below, we are offering free access to many online resources and posting creative content for everyone on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube.

We are working with our partner libraries in the Pioneer Library System to add digital content to Libby and Overdrive.

We are supporting the Canandaigua City School District's efforts to ensure that all school families are connected to online learning.  And, we are committed to pushing out important, fact-based information that will help you during this crisis.

Please continue to connect with us by email.  Library staff will make every effort to respond within 24 hours.

We appreciate all the kind messages that people have sent to staff.  We miss you all and look forward to welcoming you back in the building soon.

Good news to note

Local artist Barbara McPhail received a Finger Lakes Community Art Grant to produce a ceramic mural for Wood Library.  Her work is titled A VOYAGE IN TIME THROUGH LITERATURE.  Here is a drawing of her concept.  We will be posting more photos of Barb at work at a later date.
